What: Please join us for this unique event. Brief readings from Chicago art critics and visual artists Noah Berlatsky and Bert Stabler will be followed by a slideshow and roundtable discussion on the use of text in visual art with celebrated Chicago artists Carol Jackson and Diana Guerrero-Macía
The closing of Cole Pierce’s Clockworks precedes this event: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Old Gold is a project space housed in the basement of a Logan Square graystone.
MAKE Literary Productions, NFP is a literary arts organization whose purpose is
to disseminate contemporary literary writing through the biannual print publication, MAKE: A Chicago Literary Magazine, to stage readings and integrative arts events, and to educate through public forums on literature and writing and publishing workshops.
Cole Pierce‘s Clockworks is a painting and sound installation that meditates upon repetition, the mystery of infinity, and the rendered line.
